When will you start using your laptop to create music? It's just that, you know, there's more functionality and your musical skill will grow much faster.

Can you PLEASE let me go at my own pace, please?

@Creeperforce24 Dude, I didn't mean anything bad, it would just be cool if you had more opportunities to implement your cool ideas.

I understand, but Rome wasn’t built in a day. I have been learning more about music via Lmms (cause I don’t have Fl yet -_-). I now know how a more professional daw looks, and even learned a little on how to use melodies with minimal resources. So please, don’t try and rush me to get Fl, cause I need time to learn, and when it comes to music, I prefer to learn on my own through experimentation and advice from others.
And I’m not sure what you’re expecting of me when I get FL, but I won’t be making the same kind of music you do. My stuff will be moreso waterflame and VGM like, it may not even have any better production quality then the stuff I’ve been making, but I’ll have more options, hence more melodies, hence more adventure.

By the way, I could also recommend you a couple of cool free plugins that I use a lot myself.

Sure actually! I’ve heard of Spacer, so hit me!

@Creeperforce24 Yes, I've recently started to realize that creating songs in FLM is very interesting, because when you only have 4 synthesizers, 1 sampler (which kept my recent songs going, lol), it's very interesting. Thanks to FLM, I became a better mixer, oddly enough, because I didn't have plug-ins like OTT and Maximus at my disposal, only the Multiband Compressor was at my disposal, which I hadn't been able to use before, but once again, thanks to FLM, I learned how to use it, lol.
I can advise you to use the trial version of FL Studio for now. The trial version has the same features as the full version, but the standard plugins are limited, although you can download third-party free plugins like Sonatina Orchestra, Vital, Surge XT and OTT for mastering (just don't use it to the maximum, lol)
Alternatively, you can try Reaper, although its interface is not as simple as in FL.

I’ll stick to Fl lol. But the thing with lmms I’ve seen is that, it has very little samples, presets, etc, but it has a TON of stuff like Compressors, Equalizers, Reverbs, it’s overwhelming! But I want to learn what I can, so I can be prepared for the future :)… thanks for your advice, but from here, I’m on my own until I start truly producing, then feel free to critique lol
