Really sweet stuff! It reminds me of those game boy games that were highly detailed, sorta like Metroid if it was on the game boy.

Metroid 2 was on the Game Boy, but it wasn't so detailed. I'll admit I'm gaslighting folks with my pixel art saying games on Game Boy looked better that it really did. The closest equivalent to this monochrome style being this high fidelity is the Virtual Boy, Apple 2 and select MS-DOS games.
