Sega type shit

Cf24 used attract!

Cf24 gained 60 restraining orders!

Jokes aside, good work, it has sorta the melody of a LOFI song. I also like all the lil samples, though it could be a bit better mixed when those samples are present. But this is good!

Keep it up brotha! Pop off!

trevor8 responds:

haha; thank you so much!

Techno and breakbeat eh?

I wonder where that genre idea came from ;)

But amazing work! This isn’t exactly a cool sounding breakbeat yet, but it very well could be!
The snare you used sounds more like a dubstep snare then anything, so I’d probably use a snare with more attack, but lower punchyness, Or you can do what I do, and just add more instruments and just lower the snare volume a tiny bit, and the other instruments will filter the snare and make it sound perfect! But then again, that could lead to mixing trouble. If you want a good breakbeat song to get idea from, here’s a few examples! You’ll also notice the drums other then snares are a lot more higher volume, that’s cause you wanna show as much of the drums as possible, while still making it sound good.

Ok, this part is just rant lol, but who says you can’t edit the drums! Distortion and bitcrush were my best friend in the making of Tropperslash! Filters are also a good way to make breakbeat transitions, hell Breakcore is breakbeat just as well! It’s just the most annoying kind of breakbeat at this point since I hear it fucking everywhere!
Keep experimenting brotha, you’re doing amazing! I’m actually stoked to hear what you will make next! And even more, what you will experiment with next! ;)

But, I must leave you with one more thing. There’s a chance that, if you message waterflame, he might answer… he answered me, more then 1 time luckily as well. But message waterflame or comment on his latest release, and ask him, “what is your advice on music”… and he will give you a truth that I hold near and dear to myself. I have token his advice for over 2 years now, and Waterflame has taught me wonderful things. Keep going! If you ever wanna talk, I’m always open!

Edit: you seriously just got frontpaged as I was ranting lol 😂 cartoon ass moment

G2961 responds:

Thank you so much for the huge feedback! I wanted to make an unusual Breakbeat, I just took this drum loop from the sample pack from KSHMR and used it here.
It's good that WF responds repeatedly! It's very good that he can give advice!
by the way, I figured out this idea myself when I added a drum loop along with Acid Arps, lol.

Pretty good! It’s simple, but good! Not that memorable of a melody, but it’s definitely good. This would kinda be perfect for the title screen of some video game, or something you’d find in the Run game.

Pretty good, keep it up!

X-500 responds:

It also seemed to me that there was some kind of atonality in the melody since EQUINOXE itself was a difficult song for me and I completely relied on my ears. But this is purely my nitpicking. Again thanks!

Not bad! Not bad!

The reason I’m giving you half a star off is cause I’m just sick of hearing those typical Breakcore drums, I hear them literally everywhere, even at school sometimes 💀

OVERSCORE responds:

Thanks!
Well, at least the drums aren’t “weird” like the last couple times lol

Wow! Not bad! I was expecting some shittty beat! Nope, I got some pretty good shit! Not bad man, not bad. Though I’d reverb that choir lol, makes it sound better

LightninClawZ responds:

Hey thanks man this just made my day :D

Really amazing song! This truly sounds like something I’d hear in the credits of a spunchbop movie!

Amazing work man! And fun fact, I just realized this wasn’t made by @AndrewCR, why do your profile pics look so similar to me lol 😂

Not bad! You’re mixing some very cool genres here! Good job and keep it up!

I especially love the piano lol

Hold on, lemme grab a sunflower so they can react to this new photosynthesis method! Be right back!

The guitar reminds me a lot of Techock by Waterflame, what instrument did you use for that?

I like the beat, though the sudden pauses of the guitar at around 0:31 are a bit odd, I feel that could be improved with some tweaking. 0:47 has those weird dubby things that make the piece feel extremely weird and just super… wrong? Is that the right word for it? I personally if I wanted to add some form of dub thing, I would have used a GMS bass and made it that way with some equalizers and levelers, maybe some distortion as well.
And about the industrial ambience at 1:18, transitioning could’ve been put a bit better, even a simple cymbal would’ve been better than nothing altogether. The ambience itself sounds pretty cool and coulda used some more instruments, filtered scream samples could’ve worked wonders there, and would’ve made a more emotionally captivating section.
At 1:41, it oddly reminds me of my old 2024 song -The Gutters- my take on industrial music, but the way you used that weird whoosh dubby thing sound (im not sure how to describe it) just sounds weird and isn’t a good transition to the final segment of the song.

Overall, coulda been better, but I will tell you this, this inspired me to make more industrial songs, maybe when I reach my 400 fan special I’ll work on my industrial music skills! Decent work, keep it up ^_0

X-500 responds:

No, in fact they exist, but I wrote the piano roll itself differently and what about 0:47, this is an arp with a 303 clip. And yes, I took the guitar from Z3ta+ with the same track name. Drum loop from drummax specifically for industrial. And thank you for taking the time to do this fuss!;) All the best to you in the future, I appreciate it!
UPD: Yes, in moments I inspired 'Techock'
