Well… for this one you need to work on your drums and sorta the melody, it’s very off. Interesting tho!

It's off-beat on purpose. I drag the drums to give it a sort of lagging effect. I can keep time I just made the drums a little off to make the beat more laid back.
In this case, I just brought the beat 2 and beat 4 kicks a little closer to the 1 and 3 kicks so it kinda has that 'lag'.
I also quantized the piano off of common time because I wanted the sample to feel real and genuine.

A big jumble of sounds! Nice job! My only complaint is that it sounds a bit weird at the start, you did a good job!

Also that piano is something else!

Yeah that piano part is the same on I played the first time I came up with this chord progression, and I just really liked it

I really wish I could make dubstep like that, but my complaint is the drums, it’s a bit too loud and during the dubstep just doesn’t sound right, but the growls sound epic as hell! Nice job if this is your first try!

i saw that! congratulations! thank you as always for your kind words! i think the astral palace is a little to the left; it has a big neon sign and usually some tralfamadorians loitering around under the bridge. can't miss it!
