[Toing and Froing]

There’s a few clipping in the instruments. The bass is a bit loud and the instrumnets sometimes go offbeat. At 00:37 the track I feel actually gains a structure, and the bass oddly is reminiscent of SM64. It reminds me of a farm cartoon kinda, one looney tunes would make where they didn’t speak any words back then. But overall I feel the beginning needs the most work, the rest sounds pretty good! I like the unique sound design, so you definitely got something new out of it :D

What do you mean by clipping? Are they clicking somewhere or are they distorted? I know they go offbeat in that triplet part at the beginning, but I didn't really see it as an issue. I do see how it can be confusing. Thanks for the review!

[AIM2025 - I See You]

Whilst I was judging this was definitely on the top of the “emotion” spectrum. I loved this?, but I don’t think it fit too well with the art itself. Composition and Production quality is through the roof! Loved the voxy pop-like vocals, is that you?
I’m a very big fan of the drums and the vox, I feel the pice could use a tiny bit more bass, but overall this is one hella good song, the only thing that doesn’t exactly fit is the art relativity, I don’t know, I just don’t see it man :(

But don’t let that get you down! Amazing work on this piece! Great job! Looking forward to more! :D

If with “voxy pop-like vocals” you mean the female vocals, then no, that’s not me. That’s a vocal sample I chopped up to make a call and response with my own vocals. I did the talk box sounding vocals! Felt I needed a player 2 in the vocals since the piece featured two people, and this little trick did that nicely!

Drums are pretty well done, but they also kinda don’t fit, especially the dusty kicks, I’d recommend turning them down a notch, or adding less compression. Synths sound pretty crisp and are lovely to listen to, the offbeat drum fits well here rather then in the more empty areas. Enjoyed the transitioning that lead back to the cute sine synth. The synths overall just make the piece come alive, so great job on those!
Overall, good composition, a little repetitive with the synths, but production quality should only need be improved on the drums! Amazing song man!

I think this is the single best review I have ever gotten! I guess I do agree with the lo-fi kick, but at the beginning of producing this track, I was going for a more lo-fi hip hop kinda feel, and then it sort of just trailed off into this. But thanks for the great review!

[a Faint Calling]

Unsure if the offtune melody is meant to be a part of dreamcorem but it is very offtune. I do like the plucky synth at the beginning, along with the Minecraft-esq synths that seem to sneak their way in. Production isn’t the greatest, I’d recommend turning up the master a little bit and maybe adding more multiband compressors to the mix, on High Pass. This should allow for a more clean sounding sound. The drums are also a bit overwhelming, again, some high pass filters should work wonders!
I do like many of the melodies, along with the composition structure you decided to go with! It sounds pretty clean and melodic! Keep producing! :D

Reply to @zunami-music: a lot of people seem to mention they made it in the past and didn’t upload it, I would also recommend stating that out in your desc, just so people can understand why it’s not as good as your more recent stuff. Most people head for the recent stuff on your pfp, so that’s why it’s recommended to tell why on every song why this one could potentially be less skillful than the others.

I appreciate the feedback! The melody being offtune was intentional although I could've executed it better. The other flaws you mentioned are completely valid since I wasn't great at mixing when I made this song 2 years ago. I'll keep your feedback in mind if I ever remake this!

Beautiful man, just beautiful! Loved the xylophone at the end, and the strings are also pretty well done! Only complain seems to be that there is some sort of clipping during the timpani’s section. Overall, great music!

I do my best to avoid clipping but the cinematic plugin I use causes it, so I do my best to minimalize it as much as possible. It's why I don't do cinematic often.

Not really a big fan of Breakcore, but I do like how it’s not just a melody with (amen break) there is some variety to it. I’m especially a big fan of the jazzy end, you both did an amazing job on this! Congrats on the frontpage!

Really nice tune, I find the form a little weird, but it sounds really pretty! Good luck in the NGUAC, and congrats on the frontpage! It reminds me a lot of @Dimrain47, the analog synths fit so well! You did a great job!

[AIM - Amor Fati]

This track is very reminiscent of a lot of @Autodidactic’s work. I really enjoy the Vocal use in this! I’m also a huge fan of the orchestral and piano sound design! It’s a little messy at the more EDM parts, but it’s not generic, it’s unique, something I find up huge in a song! This was 31 hours very well spent! But yet Newgrounds say… nah, fuck you, no frontpage. Hell, let’s not make it popular at all!
This deserved better! Amazing work my friend!

It do become a little messy in some parts, I spent a whole lot of time on the mix but listening to it after-the-fact I think it probably still need some more work on that end x)
