Hello again, been awhile

Something odd happened, it for some reason automatically made me unfriendly you and unfollow you, it’s very weird d:

But I do like this idea of a sonata, I can’t tell if this is a electronic piano or a normal one, but either way this is very cool. I’m definitely not one to make criticism posts the size of skyscrapers but I do have some ideas.

1. I do wish there were kinda a part of the song that you can’t stop listening to, but to me this is just more as watching someone playing, which is impressive nonetheless.

2. Maybe it’s cause I stupid, but it sorta sounds like it’s rapidly changing which is kinda odd, but maybe that’s just a sonata or something.

3. Maybe it’s just my opinion, but I personally like multiple instruments such as a violin, but then again that would defeat the “Solo Instrument” purpose.

What it reminds me of.

A girl on Christmas Day looking for her parents in the house, before stumbling upon a secret room, to find her father playing this.

I say… 4.3/5

TaintedLogic responds:

Thanks so much for the detailed review, Creeperforce! Yeah, it is a piano from a sample pack, not me playing live. I agree that the pacing is pretty fast - maybe I should slow it down next time. Always love it when my music puts an image in people's heads. Thanks again! ^_^

(Hacking into WaterFlame’s computer just so I can put this song in his album surge)

Also I’m currently making a track with a good amount of guitars, mainly acoustic glissando guitars and some rock guitar picks. How funny.

Preds responds:

Guitars FTW honestly!

THIS AINT NO TIME FOR CHRISTMAS MUSIC!!!! It’s almost Halloween… I do wonder now, is it possible to make a Halloween synthwave ):/

trevor8 responds:

haha, if you have ever worked retail Christmas can be just as terrifying. i feel you could definitely pull of something seasonably spooky!

I have a hammer lol

(Lol still good song)

trevor8 responds:

haha; the achilles heel of any proper glass artifice!

Now this is really calming, sort of like trance and jazz mixed, Jance? Trazz? Idk

But me personally, my only complaint is my opinion, it’s too repetitive, I’m not gonna mark it down just because of that, cause some people are into that stuff (:

But I have a question, do you know a website where I can download instruments for jazz, preferably .dwp? But other wise, ver good shit here :D

DiosselMusic responds:

Well, actually I was trying to do bossanova, and as for the repetitive, I'm not very creative lol

Unfortunately I don't know of any website to download jazz instruments, sorry
but still I hope you can find some

Pretty nice, but those synth plucks in the beginning are not really mixed well.

Slimetok responds:

Thank you! Well, the synth plucks... Yeah.

I believe this is from undertale?

My personal favorites are

Agore
Death by glamour
CORE
And Ruins (:

(I’m 99.9% of undertale fans aren’t I)

Vexilion responds:

ohhh nooo now I hate that you commented all because you love a certain game and the music it's from D:< grrr

This is not classical…

Slimetok responds:

Exactly. I tried to do classical but I made techno instead.

Pros: Ok, so that acid bass is pretty awesome, and the choirs are also pretty good too. I also like that main melody. It sounds pretty nice, especially near the end.

Cons: ok, so that synth in the beginning isn’t exactly best used in this track, it just sounds wrong. Still this is an amazing track, I’m just giving my criticism I suppose.

I say for that synth would to get rid of that wobbling sound within it. I’m not experienced enough to know how, but I feel you would know.

Also, I’ve been planning a future song called “Till the end” and how funny that this is “Till the end of time”

trevor8 responds:

haha; this isn't the first time we've been on a similar wavelength!

Hello there,nice job as always.

Pros: I’m in love with the synth, and that drum sounds great along with it, as well as this those choir like vocals 2:03 are a genuine wilidacious classic I suppose. Nice job. That bass from (I guess) a guitar is too freaking glorious, even for your standards.

Cons: The synth pad in the beginning sounds a bit off, and the other synths and drums don’t seem to go well with it, but that’s just me I suppose. This is still noteworthy art of a synthwave god.

I also make mistakes, just check my latest song Wildflowers and you’ll see what I mean lol.

trevor8 responds:

thank you! i appreciate your feedback as always!

You ready?
