Wow, even the viruses on Newgrounds are fire as shit.

That FUCKING BRASS IS BEAUTIFUL. The bass is catchy as hell, love the acid basses, the brass as i said before is phenomenal, the pads in the bg are nostalgic in some way too, which is quite amazing for a song based after Duke Nukem of all things.
Though it does have some flaws, the drums don’t seem right being on the left side of the song at 2:17, I’d put the drums on the right and the bass keep it on the left, the acid should stay in the middle. The brass around the same part is a bit loud, maybe turn it down a little, the brass could also be less panned to one side as well. The bass reminds me of goa songs for some reason, not sure why. I’ve always been a lover of guitar bass so 3:14 is a blessing, and it fits really well. For how long it is it does get boring in some areas, (trust me, it’s hard making a long song non repetitive OwQ, just check my song Velocity).

Drums are also really well fitting for the funky styled song, the mixing gets a bit muddy at 4:48 but I think it needs a little less bassy instruments. More too one sided brass, but still a great melody.

I wish we got to hear a little more of 0:13 in the song, the flangy acid synth sounds really cool, and I believe that could’ve replaced the muddy part. Transitions are good, song is overall not too repetitive, mixing is strong, mastering is straight forward, and very different then what you normally see on Newgrounds! Nice work man! Strong STRONG work!

I love the use of calm instruments, some transitions can be improved. The bells are especially pretty interesting, since they make up most of the song. I love the distortion on many of the bells and instruments as well, I don’t know why but I’ve been more into distorted instruments as of recently lol XD. The guitar is pretty cool, though it does sound a bit awkward at first, I guess it may just be a personalized thing, I love guitars too :3. The pads are very soothing to the soul despite the distortion, which is another thing, you made a very calm song using distortion, which is pretty difficult IMO. Melodies are catchy, and I’m really into it, if put in the right light, I’d be here rocking for hours non end. Then I guess finally a better way to end the track would be to have it become more distorted and have it fade away, I feel it’d fit the mood.

Yooooooooo this sounds wicked! Has many sega vibes, a genre I’ve always adored for some reason. The electronic guitar is really well done as well, fits in perfectly and is on key! Nice work my dude!

Unique drum use! Yeah it says breakcore but it’s still pretty unique! The lack of reverb on some of the synths really fits well, it’s nostalgic even for some odd reason. Nice work!

I enjoyed the end with the strings, but here’s a challenge, try and combine both electronic and orchestral instruments together if you haven’t already! :P
