Instrumentation needs a lot of work, and the dubstep doesn’t sound too well either, it needs a more gritty guitar sound and it’s barely reverbed if reverbed at all, and the bass doesn’t fit well with it either. The snares are out of place in some areas as well, usually the metallic dubstep like noise, those noises which also needs some decay to sound decent. Dubstep is a hard genre, I know from experience, but keep trying, I know someone like you has the potential to become the next Skrillex :D

Also, heres some words of advice, when you do get whitelisted, your songs will become available for geometry dash, but people don’t just go Willy Nilly using your songs for GD, they must be good as well, meaning, the whitelist isn’t the way to getting your songs in gd, it’s the frontpage that will lead you there, and one of my songs got the privilege to be put on a gd level that got both rated, AND featured! It’s called slOw by Ehab090, look it up, it’s great!

Trashbinfin responds:

Ok, I will take the advice!

Interesting, though some parts of the instruments are just off beat, just keep practicing, youll do great!

RealmsSystem responds:

Oh. Those instruments are either also offbeat in my original composition, or I accidentally moved them in the midi editor while adjusting the instruments in this rendition.

This is an older project, and the source midi was likely on one of our two backup external drives that went missing some years ago.

Since AHiT uses ogg files for its music, I doubt my original midi file is in the mod files.
We will need to look at some point.

Yeah, not really into that lead, but everything else seems to sound good!

Though I do recognize that you used a lot of gd tags lol, I get 1 or 2 but I think anything more then 3 is a bit extreme, it kinda funny ngl.

Unpr0p responds:

I will probably make the weird lead quieter and the supersaw louder.

Bro not bad!

This reminds me of Fatrat, good job!

Raylectro responds:

That's a really high bar! Thank you!!!

Really good! Why didn’t I hear this sooner!

Halo5167 responds:

Tysm glad you enjoyed :)

I see your into cultured art as well

Hypervolt is epic 👌

Dynamic0 responds:

Agreed

Congrats on somehow getting frontpaged before you even had time to react!

Wish I could get it as oftenly as you lol!

Good job as always!

trevor8 responds:

haha; thank you my friend!

Ok! This one is super cool to listen to! My main problem is around this part 0:25, where you get introduced to loud snares and it just doesn’t make a good riser. I would recommend adding claps or a less punchy snare with a low velocity, then highering the velocity as the riser continues to the point then it can go with those snares, if you understand what I mean. Other than that, this is some good shit! The melody is amazing sounding!
Keep going!

Kezz0 responds:

Thx!

I like the start, reminds me of old songs, but then the song just gets a bit too crowded and not very good mixed, and the arp you put doesn’t really go well with the song.
I can barely hear a rhythm because this is not that well mixed, it just seems you are blasting every melody pattern at once.
Let’s improve! :
@Zynth-music, I guess your right, I was a bit harsh, sorry.

zynth-music responds:

thanks for the comment, but not everyone knows all the ins and outs of music creation and all of the caveats for what to do when. im just making music as a hobby and hoping people like it and just a fair warning that i (obviously i guess, as you heard) dont know how to mix or master properly and i may or may not learn within a reasonable amount of time to you.. who cares its my work and im having fun with it.
i get people on Newground expect music to be perfect to their ears because they just want to use stuff in geometry dash or whatever else, but im not perfect. never said i was, and i honestly dont want to be, it ruins the fun of things and spoils someone's attitude toward themselves and others.
while I appreciate it, i never asked for such harsh criticism and i would rather have fun with music rather than expect to be perfect for others.

not to brag at all, but also keep in mind i made this in 36 minutes. I work quickly due to not having the dedication or discipline to focus on long projects, and I prefer this way so I have more time in the day and music is less of a chore for me. Thanks again.

Not bad, the starts a bit choppy.

The amen breaks are also good, but man I’m getting sick of hearing them everywhere. I also like the vocals.
Not bad, keep improving!

dijek responds:

Thanks!! Yeah I know that break is all too common. I try to chop it up a bit to show some variety and added some effects and made my own breaks to cover it. I'll probably update a few more versions of it to clean it up.
