Not bad! Could use some more reverb! But it sounds pretty well made! The dubstep is also a bit loud on the ears, maybe turn it down a little bit? That’s kinda. Thing I see in this, a lot of sudden volume changes.
Could use better mixing more sound and such but still, pretty good!

Neon-Skies responds:

Thanks! I'll turn down the dubstep part a bit

Edit: fixed

Nice! It’s pretty simple, but sometimes that’s a good thing!
The lead at the start sounded pretty nice, I love the bass though out the song, but I feel it can have more patterns in between the non bass areas.
The acid synth sounds a little off for a song like this, and this doesn’t really sound like hip hop, it sounds more like standard electronic or experimental music. It’s also extremely repetitive, a lot of repeating beats, maybe add some more varied melodies. The gap at the end sounds pretty authentic as well.
Try and make the songs less repetitive, and add some more reverb to stop those little tiny gaps in the synth. Overall, pretty well done!

ZedzyMusic responds:

reverb on the synth would sound HEAVENLY.
I might want to update the song...
edit: I tried updating it but my wifi didn't like that :/ ill try later
other edit: updated the song, sounds WAY better!

Would the extended version be

Inevitable, inescapable, unavoidable, ineliminable?

OVERSCORE responds:

I mean, no
The title is already long enough lol

Pretty nice, some parts and drums sound a bit compressed, and some instruments sound off key, such as 1:00. It’s a really Pokémon sounding tune, reminiscent of Mt moon and other places with similar instruments. Not bad! Just needs work on the key and instrumentation! Keep it up! Good work in NGMC btw! Happy to find another track of yours!

carboluka responds:

Ah I see wym. I've accidentally made a tritone interval between voice and piano, it's still technically in key but sounds weird. As for the compression, yeah I compressed tf out the tambourine cuz it sounds more old-style lmao

Thanks for the review!

Pretty cool synths and the WOO sample is also really well done, I like how it delays, usually it’s just a transition or somewhat. It loops again at 1:04, I feel that part could’ve had another instrument added to it, maybe some breakbeat or strings.
Pretty good song, good work! Pretty damn catchy Melodies lol

And about sticking to a certain genre… dude, don’t! The more genres you know, the better! Maybe have a iconic genre, but NEVER stick to one, always experiment with new things! Hell combine them if you can!

88poly responds:

some good advice there,
glad you liked it!

A lot of the drums are a bit off, and just don’t sound well. Was this an experiment with drums?
Really neat bass lines and of course the different Sfx and samples. A lot of the drums are weird, and transitioning isn’t the best, it’s sorta like trying to do a fast song with a slow melody. I like the ending and how it fades in a phaser like way. Keep it up!
Pretty neat! :)

Bunchie responds:

I appreciate the feedback! I don’t aim for perfection..imperfection is still art. Some days I keep it simple, other days I go all out. I’m proud of the drums in this track, especially the drop. I like keeping my beats offbeat and unique, it’s part of the style. Maybe this track isn’t for you, and that’s okay, but I’m glad you enjoyed it otherwise!

Not bad! A few too high pitched synthbells but overall really good! Im in love with the name! What’s it mean?

trevor8 responds:

tahnk you!
meridian- a circle passing through the celestial poles and the zenith of a given place on the earth's surface.
(but i mainly used it in connotation with springtime, or the noonday sun)

7 hours for this much… wow, last I tried doing that it took me 10+! I’m a big fan of orchestral mixes, so this is super good for someone with a desire for violence. I’m also impressed on how you got an ever increasing speed to work, it’s kinda hard to do that since it usually ends up sounding awkward IMO. Really nice touch with the piano as well. Melodies sound pristine and uplifting, honestly I guess the only thing I’d critique is the fact it sounds a bit simple at points, but it sounds glorious, like a pheonix rising from the ground, to the wonderous heavens above.

What’s with the name? Just curious.

ChordsBoy responds:

Thanks so much for the kind words and feedback :)

As for the name, it's nothing significant really, I just kinda view the gradual adding of instruments over time to be like "bricks" in this case. I always put about 5 minutes of effort into the names lol

Not bad! I actually really like it! The dubstep doesn’t sound too good, and needs to be in longer strands rather then just the simple wub wub, sounds pretty good as an atmospheric song!

In fact, I feel this could get frontpaged if it weren’t for the subs :)

Hope your ear feels better soon… or you get used to it in general.

DiosselMusic responds:

It got frontpaged lol
Thanks for your feedback, I'll keep it in mind ^^

Truly a song of all time

CasualBreather responds:

Thanks a lot mate!
