[[T70] Cybernetic Melody]

Ok! So you do know how to make better melodies… XD. The drum loop could be a bit less choppy in the beginning, and of course their are some mixing problems, too much repetitiveness and such, but all it really takes is practice!

A lot of these songs were rushed, I made them all in around 3 months... not nearly enough time to produce 8 fully complete songs. Funny story, most of them were made at school with some garageband plugins as the school used Mac pc's.

I've recently moved on to FL studio 21 as I main windows at home, and I'm learning it with help from Shulkern, another small producer here on NG. Thx bro :)

All it takes is practice, we definitely need some better melodies, maybe find a certain key that works for you, since the piano is way off key. Many of the sfx are too loud, such as 0:46. At 0:54 that does have a sort of melody, even if it is off a little. I’d also try and add a drum loop of some sort. If I were to name all the advice I’d give to improve this, you’d probably end up more confused then with knowledge.
If you really want to get good advice, I’d recommend checking in with someone known as @Taintedlogic, you just gotta be willing to take his criticism as just that, rather than as insults. He can be a bit harsh, but his critiques have definitely helped me in the past few years!
But the main part is to keep practicing, practice making melodies, practicing new things, and just not giving cause something doesn’t work.

Thanks for feedback! As the description says, this was definitely meant to be the curtain-closer to this album/ep, but it definitely could have been better, like you said with volume control on sfx and piano being off key and seperate tempos.

hahaha, my synths are always strange; i record them at the bottom of a lake so they sound like ancient sea mammals! thank you as always! (i needs to check on the drums now)

[NekoZeko - The Lighthouse]

0:54 Did you sample fucking Noise from pizza tower XD!?

Drum kicks are a bit weird in the beginning of the song, but eventually it started flowing better in the actual dubstep part. It sounds like a mixture between those NCS songs and some dark and gritty dubstep, I also love the name The Lighthouse, it oddly fits. I’m not sure if this is more House or Dubstep, so I’m really gonna let you stick with what you think. Dark atmosphere is a pretty sick as well, and it’s pretty well mixed. The laser dropper at 0:40 doesn’t really fit, but other then that, transitions, mixing, and instrumentation is all pretty well made!

Keep it up!

(btw your pfp makes me think of that same cat in a raincoat doing a cute goofy dance on top of a lighthouse :3)

The synths used are from Bejeweled 2, i highly recommend checking the OST since those show the absolute best of the original synths :]

A really strange Breakcore… in fact, I’m not even sure what this is… WAIT, I think I reviewed one of your songs before. This isn’t bad man! It’s very odd compared to the stuff I’m use to hearing! But I do love the concept, it reminds me of Venus… but there’s something coming from it that scientists are now just discovering…

[Flashing Before My Eyes]

It’s a bit repetitive IMO, not sure if that was intentional or not, but it’s not bad! I do like the pads and the lead in it, the intermission is also a nice touch! The plucks at the beginning give a nice foreshadowing rhythm to the song. I also enjoy how the drums change a little bit throughout the song. The synth at 1:06 really sounds like something familiar, but I can’t remember where I’ve heard it, definitely something Newgrounds related that’s for sure.

We didn't model this after anything really, so the familiarness is really a coincidence. Also no sample packs whatsoever. Lol
Anyways, this was made in like one day so that's why it's repetitive. But glad you liked it!

Ooooooh! I like it! Mixing is pretty well, samples are pretty well placed, and I like the overall theme of it, it sounds like a pretty standard party track! I guess maybe turn down the bass a tinch, but that’s really to make the song sound a little bit better lol.
