Please ignore the guy who commented he’s bored, more than likely just a troll XD. Or really just someone with the attention span of a goldfish XD.

Some really amazing sounds here, a lot of mystic and underground vibes, like exploring a cave with tons of crystals. I feel the pads and atmosphere is a bit on the repetitive side, but the production and reverberation is really neat to the touch! What I find super cool in this piece are the vocals and strings, maybe it’s cause I’m an orchestral simp, even moreso in mixed electronic music. Really good production, composition and structure could use a bit of work, it’s a very adventurous piece, and I’m an extreme fan of the choices in the sound design! :D
Good work!

AbandonedMusic responds:

Thank you so much! glad you enjoyed this one :)

I love the opera singing in this! It’s not everyday you combine opera along side dubstep. The dubstep itself is also familiar, I think @Xtrullor makes some similar presets. Either way it’s pretty nice to listen to since I’m also a fan of strings, though I find it weird that you didn’t add any staccato strings to transitions the track, it would’ve fit perfectly! Either wise it still sounds really nice! Good work and Gratz on the frontpage!

IndexatioN responds:

Thanks a lot
And you were spot on with Xtrullor style presets - that's the famous phaser bass that you could hear there. To be honest, he is the artist, who inspired me to start making music

YO YO!? FUCKING YO YO!?

Nah bro IMMA WHOOP YO YO ASS!

Jojo responds:

Whoopsie cadabra! Looks more like a "NO-YO"! =|8{D

Aalasteir responds:

THIS YO YOING IS SPINNING OUT OF CONTROL!

So @BaconflakesGD asked me to check your stuff out! And now that I’ve done my busywork I’m finally doing it!

Well I like the melodies and the ideas used in this piece, the kick is a bit too compressed and loud, it blocks out a lot of aspects in the song. The piece also feels a bit more empty, I would recommend adding another pad in the mix, or maybe something odd, like strings, or a legato piano melody, like a 4/4 melody. The piano is also a little dissonant until the other instruments come into play. In fact a lot of the synths are jarring and dissonant.
I do like a lot of the ideas you went with the song, the melody is simple, but it’s catchy, and will be remembered for the rest of the night! I say this piece was worth it! I’m currently learning LMMS and other VST plugins, so I feel you lol! XD. The production of the instruments is also really crisp! I sincerely enjoy it, it’s almost entrancing!
Nice work, just keep practicing and you’ll make it! Baconflakes seems to already admire you, so that’s something to be proud of, don’t you think ;)!

TheUltimateMusic responds:

Well thanks I kinda knew it was missing stuff while making it BUT I JUST couldn't get a melody to go with it perfectly but I might revisit it and just TRY to fix it by adding those suggestions like I did with my other song Tides, oh and Baconflakes told me -- got someone to check out my audio and I can say a very supportive fan :)

Glad you like it :)

The keys are so pretty in this one! So happy i check your account today! A few weird dark notes that contrast and sound jarring compared to the original melody. Did our latest collab give you inspiration to make this masterpiece?

trevor8 responds:

haha; actually i was inspired by the YMO song "Perspective" for this ;) there's a really weird and awesome chord progression in that one
but i am always inspired by our collabs too!

Those industrial snares are very nostalgic. Do you use FL Mobile?

With that out of the way, love the strings and pads, they kinda add the addicting rhythm for a song like this. The structure of the track is also extremely different then what I’m used to, but I love it! What time sig is this!
The song tho, has a lot of transitions that don’t sound natural, but with this kind of song structure it’s hard to not do that, some sections of the song sound like completely different tracks. There is also some emptiness overall in the track. Production wise this sounds amazing! Very good for a frontpaged piece! Nice work! Keep it up!

JLL-NG responds:

Thank you for your coments !!! I use FL STUDIO, with SERUM and OPUS as VST.

Not too good mixing with the drums, and many of synths are extended beyond necessary and are even off beat. The song itself is pretty good, the melody is recognizeable, and there are a lot of good ideas. Transitions here seem to be your best, good work with the remixes!

Hate to see you go man, thanks for scouting me day 1 ;)

X-500 responds:

Oh yes! I saw it and waited. Thanks for impression

Interesting takes on this remix, a lot of strange synths and leads. The bass drum is also fits well, though the snare could be turned down a little. The final part is a bit on the empty side, and the transitions don’t sound familiar to the original blast processing. But overall production is great!

X-500 responds:

I tryed to make so, bass not conflict with drums at final part, but another problem with a little silent bass volume, but overall dude I can't say that everything was so bad with her unless you really pick on her. I understand, lol

Pretty interesting, it’s almost like a soundfont with other geometry dash instruments. I love the drums! They actually sound really nice! The sudden transitions are a bit on the jarring side, but this song is pretty well, but I would add something else in the bass area, like a pad.

X-500 responds:

yeah these are some of my cut ideas along with a recreation of the mecha effects from the original i just couldnt find anything like that damn
